CROSS COUNTRY TREKKING
We are now offering a range of cross-country treks in the Kimberley, Central Australia, and the Wet Tropics. These treks are small group trekking expeditions, with no more than seven trekkers, one trek assistant and one trek leader. All treks are in incredible and rarely visited destinations.
Once you start doing our cross-country treks,
you will never go back to trail hiking.
All of our treks are booked via an expression of interest process. There is a minimum criteria which all prospective EOI's must meet - no exceptions. Only very experienced, fit, strong and capable hikers meeting the minimum criteria
will be invited to book a trek.
Only approx 20% of EOI applications for our treks are successful.
Many of them are solo women looking for the next challenge.

EAST KIMBERLEY // WA
EAST KIMBERLEY TRAVERSE
14 day trek / 197 km / HARD / Cross Country
One of our most epic cross-country treks, the East Kimberley Traverse is a powerhouse of cross-country trekking experiences. Diverse ranges and terrain, incredibly epic landscapes, pristine waterholes and mind-blowing visuals from start to finish. Includes four hiking days of cultural immersion with Kija and Jaru Aboriginal Rangers. Trek route includes Purnululu National Park, parts of which are led by Kija guides. This trek is recommended for most hikers transitioning from hiking to cross-country trekking.

NORTH WEST KIMBERLEY // WA
PRINCE REGENT TRAVERSE
13 day trek / 122 km / V HARD / Cross Country
Trek through some of the most wildest, remotest and most unexplored areas in the world - The Prince Regent Nature Reserve. This will be one of the most amazing experiences of your life without fail. It will be a hard trek over rough but epic and ancient landscapes covering archipelago islands, ancient rainforest gorges, epic mesa ranges and pristine waterholes. Charter boat in, helicopter/plane out. All Ex-Broome. Does include some cultural immersion with Aboriginal Land and Sea Rangers in this area.

CENTRAL AUSTRALIA // NT
10 day trek / 121km / MODERATE / Cross Country
This is one of the best cross country treks in Central Australia without fail. The trek traverses across the spectacular Western Chewings Ranges in the Tjoritja/WestMacDonnell National Park. The Chewings Range is the crown jewels of the national park. This trek is supported by heli-food and water drops along seven points of the trek route, enabling the trek to resupply every two-three days and avoid using the pristine waterholes for resup.

WET TROPICS // QLD
DAINTREE RANGES TRAVERSE
13 day trek / 173km / MODERATE / Cross Country
The World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park in the Wet Tropics is an amazing part of world without a doubt. We trek through jungle, rainforest and up to the highest mountain tops along the Main Coast Range and the McDowall Range. Our treks starts in the Mossman Gorge area and finishes close to Cape Tribulation. Treks are carried out in 3 x4 day blocks, with 3x1 days of rest in fixed accommodation in between each block. Also suits hikers preparing for the Kokoda Track, Black Cat Track and Fear Drive My Feet Track, all in PNG. Includes cultural immersion experiences with Ku Ku Yalanji Aboriginal Rangers.
