ELLERY CREEK TRANSFER

 

A Larapinta Trail vehicle transfer to/from Ellery Creek. You can nominate whether this is your pickup or drop off point.

 

Town pickups and drop offs: We pick you up or drop you off from/to your respective accommodation point but it must be within a 5km radius of Alice Springs CBD.  

 

Key Points

 

• Morning Drop Off to Ellery Creek

• Depart Alice Springs: 7:00am -7:30am

• Arrive to Ellery Creek at approx 8:30am - 9am

REDBANK GORGE TRANSFER

A Larapinta Trail vehicle transfer to/from Redbank Gorge. You can nominate whether this is your pickup or drop off point. 

 

Town pickups and drop offs: We pick you up or drop you off from/to your respective accommodation point but it must be within a 5km radius of Alice Springs CBD.  

 

Redbank Gorge pickups and drop offs: We pick you up or drop you off to/from the Redbank Gorge car park, which is approx 300m from the Larapinta Trail campsite.

FOOD CONTAINER HIRE

You will be provided with standard 50lt tubs or containers (General Plastic Storage Containers) for your food drop.  You can order more containers at extra cost. Generally, 1x50lt is more than sufficient for the trek.

TRAIL RUBBISH DISPOSAL

​

Trail rubbish disposal is included. Rubbish bags will be provided in the containers.

STOREROOM KEY HIRE

​

A key is issued to you as part of the trek package. The key is required to open the Ormiston Gorge food storeroom . The key hire is $70 on top of the package cost) of which $50 is refunded once you return the key to us.  More info about the storeroom key here

PRE-TREK CONTAINER DELIVERY/PICKUP

Your empty food container will be delivered to your nominated accommodation. Containers are normally dropped off at the Reception storerooms a day before your trek starts or at an agreed date and time.  An SMS will be sent to your nominated mobile phone when delivery has been completed.

Your packed food container will be collected from your nominated accommodation. Containers are normally collected the day you start your trek or at an agreed date and time.  An SMS will be sent to your nominated mobile phone when the collection has been completed.

30 Min CHECK IN CHAT (30CIC)

​

This is a 30-minute check-in chat with an LTTS Field Crew, who will cover key planning and preparation points with you and anything else you want to cover in preparation for your trek. A checklist is provided before the chat.  You get to cover any key questions you have regarding your trek, planning and preparation. This is a booked-in service subject to availability, valued at $55. We do not provide any technical or information advice over the phone unless a 30CIC is booked in.  This is a freebie and subject to availability. Must be booked in 3 weeks before pre-trek.
