LTTS VEHICLE FLEET

The LTTS fleet includes vehicles capable of accessing all Larapinta Trail trailheads and other remote area points in the West Macs NP. All vehicles are officially registered and accredited for the carriage of passengers in the national park.

> Vehicle is a Toyota Landcruiser 70 Series Troop Carrier 4WD

> Vehicle is a licenced and registered Tourist Vehicle (TV Plated)

> Vehicle complies with the NT Tourist Vehicle In-Service Maintenance Standards

> Maximum number of passengers for our 4WDs is 5

> Seating configuration: 1 front passengers, 4 side facing ( see image above)

> Packs will be securely stowed either inside the vehicle or on the roofrack

> Vehicle is fully equipped for remote area travel

> Drivers are trained and experienced 4WD specialists

> NT Parks and Wildlife approved transfer operator

 

 

 

EQUIPPED FOR REMOTE AREA WORK

Every vehicle is equipped with the following:

> 24 hour vehicle GPS satellite tracking

> Vehicle Satellite Phone ( alls, text, email)

> Fixed Vehicle PLB/EPIRB

> Strobe Lights, Flares & Laser Signalling Kit ( day and night use)

> Advanced Remote Area First Aid Kits & Defibrillators (AED) Kits

> 4WD recovery gear including winch

> High clearance aftermarket suspension kits for rugged terrain (i.e Hugh Gorge access)

> Secure gear storage racks and roof racks (well protected/tough secure strapping)

COMFORT ZONE

> On board fixed iPads with Larapinta Trail info, updates, images and video

> Vehicles are regularly cleaned and well maintained

> Comfortable seating ( can get cozy with six people and packs)

>Vehicles have aircon and heating if needed ( mostly it is not wanted!)

> Carpeted rear for extra comfort and sound reduction

> Excellent internal lighting for gear prep or packing during early morning or night drops

> Multifunction Recharging Station ( Phones, Cameras ect)

> Dustproof, airtight, space container storage for sensitive equipment
